I have an Everio JVC GZ-MG575 Hybrid 40GB HDD/SDHC Camcorder and I have lost the operations manual and I cannit for the life of me get my photos copied onto my laptop. I am sure I have it cabled right - can someone gothrough it with me or offer me a link for the operations manaual?

This is manufacture only unless you can find a working copy from someone who has a copy. If the program is a registered software this is not a good idea.

Many people have 2 memory cards for their digital cameras and a reader on their PC for these cameras. They do a card swap to get their pictures.

You simply plug the memory card in to the PC reader and you can then copy and past the pictures from the card to a folder on the PC. The card comes up like a disk drive.

You can then use any generic picture editing software for the cropping, saving, and processing of the pictures.

Many of the pro photographers don't bother with the factory software. They use the method that I described.
