Hi

Here are my findings - service documentation

Parts for your machine

If your printer is not 6210 but for example 6210ix then look here for the correct model:

Yes its fitted on screws and inner clips called locks.its not very tough.the upper half will be connected by removable cables so after removing the screws and unlocking the locks.dont just lift the upper half quickly.slowly lift it and remove the cables from the circuit board slowly then lift the upper half/its simple and easy.only one proper screw driver and thin knife like material required to unlock the locks.that will help.
thanks.please do rate the solution.thank you for using fixya.keep updated.

Hi,

Check that the HP all-in-one print queue is not paused (Windows) or stopped (Macintosh). If it is, choose the appropriate setting to resume printing. For more information about accessing the print queue, see the documentation that came with the operating system installed on your computer.
Check the USB cable. If you are using an older cable, it might not be working properly. Try connecting it to another product to see if the USB cable works. If you experience problems, the USB cable might need to be replaced. Also verify that the cable does not exceed 3 meters (9.8 feet) in length.

Carriage jam print cartridge stalled HP 6210 Officejet. It started all of a sudden and I can't fix it

Press "ON" till green lite appears. The display will indicate "Initializing..." and then lift upper half of the printer to access cartridges. Cartridges should move all the way to the right. If they don't, inspect the carriage belt for any obstructions.

Can I get parts to replace broken hinge? I have an HP Officejet 6210 All in One.

In the mean time, I kept my unit working by just removing the broken top half of the hinge.
You have to remove 5 screws using a TORX T10 screwdriver. First remove the small plate covering the back of hinge on the outside. Then remove the two vertical screws at the top of the hinge up under the hinge lip. Then open the cover (be careful to hold it in place so as not to damage the three flex connections between the lid and body) and remove the other two screws at the top of the hinge. Remove the broken top half of the hinge and lower the cover back down. Until you find a replacement hinge, you can put a piece of heavy duty tape on the back where the hinge was.
