SOURCE: lost instructions to uno attack game

About:
Uno Attack is a popular adaption of the original Uno game that involves a electric card shooter. The shooter has a launch button and when pressed 0-12 cards can be shot out.
Differences:
Uno Attack rules are very simular to the original Uno rules with several differences. Instead of a Wild Draw Four card, there is a card named “Wild Hit Fire”. When played, the next player must hit the launch button.
Instead of drawing a card when a player no longer has a card to play, they press the launcher button.
Players must yell “Uno” when they first place down their second to last card. If an opponent catches them not saying “Uno”, the player has to press the launch button.
Cards:
Besides the number cards there are several other cards that helps mix up the game.
“Reverse” – If going clockwise, switch to counterclockwise or vice versa.
“Skip” – When a player places this card, the next player has to skip their turn.
“Draw Two” – When a person places this card, the next player will have to pick up two cards.
” Wild” – This card represents all four colors, and can be placed on any card. The player has to state which color it will represent for the next player. It can be played regardless of whether another card is available.
“Wild Hit Fire” – When played, the next player must hit the launch button.

SOURCE: i have uno attack the game but i lost the instructions

The object of the game is the same as the original Uno game with an unpredictable twist. Players still need to get rid of all playing cards before other opponents and reach 500 points and you still must scream "Uno" when you have only one card left. But this Uno has an extra twist. Instead of picking a card when you have nothing that matches the discard pile, you must press the fire button that disperses none, one or many cards when pressed. Read on to learn more.
jQuery('.intro .thumbnail').each(function(i,e){ jQuery(e).find('img').one('error',function(){ jQuery(e).remove(); }); }); Difficulty: Easy Instructions

    Starting the Game
  1. Step 1 Get a pad of paper, pencil and calculator handy to keep score. The winner is crowned when they reach 500 hundred points. Have winners after every round for younger players, the scoring math will take too long and they will lose interest.
  2. Step 2 Remove all contents from the Uno Attack box and lay out on the table. Unscrew the battery cover with a Phillips screwdriver and place 3 C size batteries to the slot. Reattach the cover and press the button to check if the batteries were put in correctly. It should make a buzzing noise if correctly installed.
  3. Step 3 Combine the top part and the bottom part of the Launcher by pushing the red top onto the purple base in an angle, with the exiting slot facing the same way as the UNO fire button on the base. Listen for the snap as it connects.
  4. Step 4 Decide on the dealer by choosing cards from the deck. Highest numbered card gets to deal first and then the deal goes around clockwise. If you pick a command card, it counts as a zero. The player to the left of the dealer gets to discard first.
  5. Step 5 Shuffle cards and pass out 7 to each player. Place the rest of the cards into the launcher, and use the top card from the launcher as the first card in the discard pile. The person to the dealers left must follow the directions of the command card if it happens to be picked.
    Playing
  6. Step 1 Match the color or the number of the top card in the discard pile when it is your turn. Place your matching card on the top of the pile. Save command cards till your opponents are low on cards unless you don't have any cards that match the discard pile. This practice is a good strategy but can fail miserably because command cards left in your hand at the end of each round are more points for that rounds winner.
  7. Step 2 Choose to save a playable card for later in the game and take your chances by hitting the Uno fire button instead. This is called reneging.
  8. Step 3 Follow the directions of special card. If you do not have what it is asking for then you must press the Uno button on the Launcher. Most cards are like original Uno or self descriptive.
  9. Step 4 Say "Uno" loud enough that all players can hear as soon as you have one card left in your hand.
  10. Step 5 Call out "Uno" only after another player lays their second to last card on the discard pile but before the next person takes their turn and that player must hit the Uno fire button twice. You can go out with any card including a command card except the Trade Hands Card.
  11. Step 6 Add the cards left in the losers hands at then end of each round, this will be the winners score. Each face card through 9 is scored by its value. "Reverse," "Skip" and "Hit 2" are each worth 20 points.

Bought the UNO Attack game for my grandson. We can't get it to work. The batteries are in properly, help.

If the batteries are in properly and you have read all the instructions TWICE, it is broken, send it back, or contact the seller or Mattel.
