Fisher and Paykel Dishwasher Dishdrawer Error Code E4 = Program indicator lights 1, 3, and 4 are flashing.
Error Code Cause: Drain hose is too high. Drain hose is kinked. The water is not draining out.
How To Fix: Check that drain hose is straight. Be sure the drain hose is connected per the installation instructions.
If the kitchen inlet tap is open, then you have couple of issues - water pressure setting (high or low) is changed and is not same as mains pressure or the inlet valve in dishwasher is faulty.
I am Sorry to hear regarding this Error. But, i am afraid that you need to call a technician as this Error refers to Faulty Control Board. It has to be replaced.
You could try to Press Cancel / Clear buttons, if any to check if that could improve the situation or keep the Dishwasher unplugged for few minutes, and then turning it ON, say after 30 minutes to check if that could fix the problem. ( You would be lucky if you could get it fixed by this ).
There is a website that has free manuals, I am not sure if we are allowed to post links here though. It's a fisher paykel site. http://fisherpaykelparts.net/index.php?blockitemid=19
