HI, this is a defective dispenser solenoid. This solenoid is responsible for releasing the soap during the cycle. you will need to replace this defective solenoid in this case. it is damaged.

Washing machine makes a loud whining noise when in high speed spin that it has not made before. Noise seems to come from the soap inlet tube.

usually when a front load washer starts making noise in the spin cycle it's not good, most of the time it's from the owner using to much detergent,it eats the spider gear and then it's time for a new washer, the gear costs around 500 bucks, next it will start to bang around and get real loud,i've seen the rubber boot get ripped off because it bangs all around,if you're using alot of detergent most likely this is the start of your problem, when you read the back of the bottle the measurements are for a top load washer not a front load so you better check that, also you could have a broken shock, also you can pull the middle of the pump out and check to see if there are any filings in there,i've seen that before.put it on high spin and listen to it,if it sounds like a knocking sound don't waste your money and call someone in,change out the washer and watch the cd that comes with it and use less detergent,i hope this isn't your problem but when the noise comes from the spin cycle it's usually the spider gear.

When I turn the washer it goes in the load sensing cycle and starts to spin no water comes in and then starts this clicking.

sounds like soap dispenser motor is stalling and or jammed. if you take the top off machine and look at soap dispensor reservoir there is a little motor there this will have a long arm shaped like an arrow that poins to number imprinted on the soap dispensor. check that if its stalling replace it gtg.

Maytag front load machine has a hidden mold odour coming from the machine somewhere, but I cant locate the origin.

you could try a small amount of soda crystals put it in the soap draw about half the amount you would normally use of regular soap powder and put it on the hottest wash it will break down any gunk or loose limescale which could be causing the smell,

The machine washes well but the loundry comes out very wet

If your machine is attempting to spin and it's got a very unbalanced load, it won't be able to spin all the water out.
Make sure that you're washing "like" items... in other words wash all towels, all lighter weight items together etc...

Also it could be one of your belts, if it's gotten overheated and or stretched.

Also, some of the front loading machines don't react well to over soaping. They'll not spin out as well for some reason...

Try running a medium sized load with minimal soap and see if anything improves....

Zanussi ZJD1219 Washer/Dryer - noisy spin and dirty spots

Sounds like the main drum bearings have failed, and the marks on clothes are probably grease spots from the main bearings.
It is quite an involved repair, and not one that I would recommend you tackle yourself unless you are competent to do so,as it really is involved.
Please rate my solution.

Leaking soap dispenser

There should not be suds up that high in the washer. You are experiencing a over sudsing condition and spin is throwing up throw the fill line in the dispenser. Run some fabric softener in a load with no clothes to clean out any hidden suds. Then use only HE (High efficiency) detergent and half of what they recommend! The softer the water the less the soap you use. Sounds like you may be using non HE detergent. My guess if the machine is fine.

GE Top Load Washing Machine -- Agitator will not cycle

Agitator's don't spin on wash cycle.

I would suggest washing the clothes without soap until they rinse clear. If you have hard water, the soap will not easily rinse out of clothes, or off of you when you use soap to wash or shower.

Reduce the amount of soap you use in each wash if this is the case. It sounds like your washing machine is working right.

On my wash&dry machine while spin makes clicking noises than stops and shows e 04

This just happened to me, so I called my extended warranty company. They told me that I am using too much soap and I should cut the amouny in half (I fill the he soap top to #2 line). To fix the problem they told me to put 2 caps full of fabric softner into the soap dispenser and run the wash again. I am now happily washing again.
