Question about Whirlpool Inglis IP4400 Washer
I've bought a brand new inglis washer it expells water out the drain tube AS the machine if filling up with water. I inadvertantly left the cycle for about 10 hours only to find the water running out of the drain tube. THanks Model number IV4500
Seems like no one wants to send you any love Richard. Well fear not, if you haven't figured this out yet, I'll do what I can. It seems to me that you have the drain hose lower than the top of the wash basket or a hole in that hose. If the drain hose is too low, the water will run out of the machine due to low center of gravity. Ideally, 6" above the level of the tub is sufficient. If there is a hole in that hose, replacement is pretty straight forward.
