I would suspect the heating element is likely burnt out.

My shark steamer is foaming and no steam is coming out

You cant put soap in the steamers, only water. Clean out water container and start new. Also, clean hole where steam comes out with something thin. Make sure it is heating up enough to produce steam, otherwise heat assembly is broken.

Tons of water on the floor might mean that an internal hose or hose clamp has failed. Once you have it apart you can assess and replace the hoses by taking the bad hose to the auto parts store and asking for an appropriate sized replacement.

Shark steamer leaves the floors streaky

Hi,

This type of problem usually is not he fault of the Shark Steam Mop.
The problem is the old residue left on the floors by other cleaners.

Lights on but no steam and getting hot

In order to produce steam, you have to "pump" the steamer. After it heats up, pump it while moving it back and forth on the floor while mopping - it takes a few strokes to get the steam really rolling. I love mine - ;)

Shark floor steamer: Does not produce any steam and no lights are on.

Hi All
Shark steamer that the light is not on and will not heat up. I have found that there is a in line slow blow fuse in side. replace this fuse IF you can find one and the steamer will work. If you let the unit run dry and leave the unit on it will get hot and blow the fuse!
I am looking for the fuse myself. good luck! Dan FL.
