Voicemail icon's permanently on. Tried leaving message then deleting it, to clear, but icon still there. Put Sim in another phone, did the same and it cleared. Great. BUT back in my phone, got a voicemail msg, deleted it and the bloomin' icon's still there even though mailbox is empty. It's annoying having to check all the time for new messages as I don't know if there is one or not. Don't want to have to buy a new phone. Virgin haven't been able to come up with a solution. I know this is not an unusual problem. What solution as anybody found?

I've had the same problem as well. I made sure no messages were there, then called and left myself a message from another phone. I went in and listened to the message and waited till the option to delete came on and for the indication there were no more messages. Icon was gone.

This same thing happened to me. I powered down the phone completely. Then started it back up... press 2 or C key immediately after hitting the power button and hold until screen comes up... all other "stored" info remains the same... worked for me not 5 minutes ago
