Have you tried adding the card and see if it defaults to the card rather than the onboard video? Many BIOS are set that way by default.

Go into your BIOS and look at the onboard devices. It is preferable to tell your BIOS to first look for an add-in card and default back to onboard if you don't find one. But you can disable your onboard video, then save and reboot.

Does INTEL D915GLVG Motherboard supports Graphics/Video Card? OR Can I add Graphics/Video Card to INTEL D915GLVG Motherboard? - Kindly suggest me.

gaming is limited by the os that you have
gaming is limited by the speed of the cpu ( intel chip)you may even be limited by the graphic card that you can use in the mother board slot
when faced with all of these decisions and obvious lack of knowledge of what works best, find your self a computer repair shop and talk about upgrading to what you want
you say that cost is no object but to get what you want it will be a new mother board and fast chip ( probably a duel core or quad core) and a suitable graphic card for gaming
you can build a computer up from parts off the shelf and the cost will be around 1/2 the price of a computer from a retail shop and you will get exactly what you want

I have DG965SS mother board and I am about to buy video card PCI-E , what I need to do to have this card working and not using the on-board craphic ?

When you already purchased a new PCIE card for it what you need to do is to just plug the video card to the mother and then power it on and computer will automatically disable the onboard video card and then once computer is up run the setup disc for the new video card and install all the software for it and you;re ready to go now.

Hi, I have Intel DG965SS MOTHER BOARD and wanted to add a video card , how can I know what video card can I use ?

Hi yair_osman,
Install PCI Express [Graphics / Video Card]
You can install {Any Type} of PCI Express Card.
It 'must be a [16x PCIe] card!" the "lowercase" (e) = Express.
Important!: It "must fix the {Form Factor} of your Desktop!"
Meaning: "The "Dimensions" in (inches)
Go to the "Website" below.
Its for your Desktop "Assembly Guide"

This is an example of a PCI Express Card:
Galaxy 43GGS8HX3SPZ
GeForce GT 430 Video Card
Price: $69.99

What is my limit in video card choise 128bit? ddr3? what is my original power suply 300w 400w? kispis@live.com

The sony has 128 bits to display video graphics where the hiden programs least observed during a media show on the screen is powered by memory known as ddr3. A video program being observed only requires least memory. Every picture loaded starts a new video pixels. One program is incapable of distracting 128 bits of video. Motion picture flow faster least requiring so much video bits. Opening several programs on the desktop takes away from ddr3. A certain percentage of ddr3 is required to display a motion picture video. A slow down in videos on the screen is an indication to close any displaying programs on the desktop.

My mother board doesnot have slot for graphis card....... how can i install the graphis so that i can play high resolution games?

Hi

Thank you for your query

Your motherboard will have a graphics card slot, it will be either a AGP slot this will be above the 3 or 4 white PCI slots and will be brown in colour.

Or it wil be a PCI-E slot again above the PCI clots but may be purple in colour

If this has been useful please leave postive feedback/vote/testimonial - Thank You Again

Can i put a graphics card for my intel D915GVWB mother board?

You can not use PCI-EXPRESS graphics cards. Only AGP 2/4X Graphics Cards Supported ( 1.5V Only) You should look for This kind of Graphics cards.

I recommend , You must try changing your Motherboard with processor and buy a graphics card ( powerful one) to play these games. Otherwise You wont enjoy any of those games you mentioned.

n.b : a common PCI-E card has 16x speed where you cannot use more than 4x on your system.

Hi sunee, when a motherboard has an integrated graphics card it's something you can not see. (Integrated mean part of the board). The Intel you have has an 865GV chipset (No card slot). You'll need to enter your bios & find your graphics card. The bad part of a integrated video card is it shares your main system memory to function. So if you set the memory usage to say 128MB & your PC has a total of 512MB your video card takes 128MB leaving your system to run 384Mb.
This link is drivers for your 865GV chipset Intel board.
http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=1049&OSFullName=Windows*+XP+Professional&lang=eng&strOSs=44&submit=Go%21
This link shows your board & its specifications.

You can add a PCI video card to free system memory.
I suggest you check your manual. You are looking to see if your bios will allow you to use a PCI video card.
