Bosch dishwasher stopped working after few minutes. And LED displayed E:24. What is the problem?

Hey Karen, Water in the bottom of the dishwasher results from clogs in the filter or in the drain hose. Before you do any work on your dishwasher, make sure that it's switched off at the mains. If cleaning your filter hasn't resolved the issue, then the next thing that could be preventing your dishwasher from draining is a blocked drain hose. Is your dishwasher displaying an error code? If you see the E25 error code on a Bosch dishwasher, that means the filter is blocked or clogged, and water cannot drain out of the machine correctly. Take the front kick panel off and see if anything under the machine is wet.

Ive had this happen on mine too. remove the filters in the bottom. squirt washing up liquid into the space-- liberally dont be shy!
Boil pans of water, boil the kettle. pour water into the space where the filters normally are. Fill the base of the dishwasher completely. Next close the door and repeatedly use the Reset feature. Eventually the pump will clear and kick back into life. Its a build up of fats, and sludge that causes the pump to appear to seize--the washing up liquid and boiling water see to that.

Does it fault out in the beginning, middle or end?

have you checked your float valve and float relay switch

float switch is in the flood position and the drain pump is running.. there is water under the dishwasher or that switch is stuck up..

fault is with dishwasher. even if drain blocked, would not cause overfill.
possibly the pipe to sump from fill mechanism partially blocked

There's an error code on the digital display

It doesn't work at all
It cleans poorly
There's no water entering the machine
The water doesn't drain from the machine

My SHU43C is just over 3 years old. I had a similar problem recently. First, there were a few floods. Then, the Bosch only drained non-stop. Even when I used the Cancel Drain buttons the drain pump would run without stopping. When I tried to run one of the cleaning cycles, no water entered the machine. Corrective: I removed the base plate, and saw that the red plastic floatation device was in the up position. Using a flashlight and a wooden spoon, I lightly toggled the red float stem down. I pushed regular clean cycle and kept toggling with the red float stem until the rinse water started to enter the machine (turning the red stem seems to also actuate a step in the program). Now the dishwasher runs normally. Voila!
