PC virus infected

that is not much information to go off of. the current high poweredvirus and malware removers are Avast! antivirus 5.0 and Malwarebytes. download avast and register it for free. if you dont want to connect it to the internet for fear it would infect other computers, download avast and malwarebytes by visiting www.avast.com and malwarebytes.org <--no www. in front of this) on your friends computer or the library, store it on a cd or flash drive and install both. avast will have a "boot scan" schedule it allow it to restart the computer. when it finds a virus, it will ask you what to do. select "2" by typing "2" and you can walk away from the scan to do other things while it works. "2" deletes all viruses it finds. the next thing you want to do when avast is done, run a malwarebytes full system scan. if you have multiple partitions or other attached harddrive, unless they have a linux operating system on them, scan them all. malwarebytes will scan. when done, it will pop up a notepad log of what happened. exit the log and click view all items or show all items. this will display what was found, you then select remove selected items. it will delete them and ask you if it can reboot the system. do this and your pc will be clean.

if this virus is a high level virus and locks you out of the registry, or keeps you from opening anything like a freakin CD, then you need to take your pc to the nearest computer center. they will remove the harddrive, insert it into one of thier own machine as a secondary harddrive. they will scan the harddrive with thier antivirus and antimalware (if they are seriously proffessional, which is sketchy as 60% of computer centers dont know what theyre doing). when they are done, they will tell you the results. just to let you know, some viruses mess with important operating system files, causeing severe damage, and forcing you to have your OS reloaded. always always(i dont know how many times i stress this to customers) back up your data at least once a week! because when you do get one, your stress level will skyrocket.

i dont know if you still have internet access, if you do download these two programs and run them on the pc, www.malwarebytes.org
and www.microsoft.com/security_essentials
theses usually remove 99% of viruses alone, quite a long process and varys depending on what virus etc,

if it dont work let me know will post more detailed guide.

Runs very slow, has been repaired twice for viruses

Have you tried a Disk Cleanup? This can often cause computers to run slowly. Look under Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools.

Computer runs too slowly and ''grinds''

Depending on the situation, It could be you need more ram. If your running Windows Vista, 2-3 years old computers are probably coming with about 512mb-2 gb's or ram. In which case grab at least 3 gb's or ram and you'll be ok. If it's an xp system. grab at least 1gb or ram. Internet delay though could possibly be due to your ISP or perhaps a virus/spyware. There are certain viruses and spyware that slow down internet connection while leaving your pc running fast.

How can i get rid of trojan an spyware viruses?

i recommend using adaware free edition from www.lavasoft.de also search for combofix.exe it is very helpful in removing alot of viruses.and don't forget you can always do system restore that works most of the time.just run the syastem resore wizard and choose a date when you know your computer was not infected.don't worry it won't erase any files, just puts the registery back in order.if you dont know how to use system restore, goto start menu and click help and search for system restore
