It probably will not matter which wire goes on which terminal as the sensor is a simple pick up of an impulse
however it you check the other sensor actuators on the other wheels , the colors should give you some indication

Need to know which wire attaches to the top and which one goes on the bottom. rear passanager brake abs attachment has broken off and need to temp fix.

An ohm meter may help or hold the broken pieces together, exactly as it broke, the two pieces should line up to original position and give you an idea.
Hope either helps!

I replaced the caliber guide pins on a 2009 toyota corolla and now ABS light stays on.

hi.... you may have disturbed the wiring that goes to the abs sensor
on the back of your brake plate. there is one on each wheel. and the cable goes from the sensor into your boot to a connector you may have disturbed this. its behind the panels on the wheel arch. good luck.

Abs actuator toyota

Remove the front wheels and inspect the ABS connector wires that run above the control arm. Chances are you will find that these wires are damaged. The ABS is in or around the wheel bearing and there is a clip that can be gently pried back to remove the ABS plug from the Wheel bearing sensor or the external sensor in that area.
Sometimes a faulty alternator will light up the ABS sensor light. Check to see if the vehicle is charging when this light is on., typical voltages while the car is on should be around 12.5 to 14 volts. You can test it right at the battery while the car is running.
Sometimes an alternator will only go faulty once the component inside get hot.
Typically the wires to the Wheel Hub sensor goes bad from exposure to the elements, especially snow and ice climates or rocks and dirt-roads a lot or if you go through bushes a lot.

Camry 1996 automatic power lock doen't work, but windows work.

if you can here relays when unlocking/locking check for power at door lock actuators inside doors, if you have power on lock/unlock and good earth from connector actuators are faulty.
if no power on test light when operating check output from central door lock module while operating, none coming out of module then it might need replacing.
check 30Amp power fuse for main relay under bonnet (which goes to pin 8 white/blue on module)and 10Amp gauge fuse in cab(pin 1 blue/red on module),pin 15 is also power when relay is on(red/blue) with test light, and module/ actuators.
check outputs from module pin 3 & 4
blue/red
blue/black
that go to door locks

2001 ford taurus ABS will not light but brake light on

You have a bad ABS module. Had the same problem with my 2000 Taurus. The ABS module is a Bosch 5.3 You can have yours rebuilt for $170 or go to a junk yard and pull one from a 2000-2003 Taurus. Make sure its a traction control module if you have it on your car!
