ALWAYS CHG THE DEVELOPER AND DRUM AT SAME TIME. did you clear the counter first before chg the drum????? F8 has to do with the developer not the drum

remove the opc drum.
there are two black plastic flags that detect paper jams. one is high up just below the fuser unit. The other is roughly half way up the printer between two small transfer rollers very close to the opto sensor. Apparently it frequetly gets jammed behind the plastic cover, and once jammed you would never realise it is there.
I managed to prise it out from behind the cover and the "paper jam at transfer roller" message was cleared.
Unless you know it is there and hiding it is not obvious at all that anything is wrong.

Please check the sensors and actuators ,open & close front door to reset nisfeed.Clarification Top feed = Automatic Document Feeder?If YES,please verify misfeed paper beetween coverplaten and feedbelt(Yellow).Is necessary disassembly the ADF.Good luck.You will find a little paper.

Reset it, start it with the right door open, go to service mode, clear the counters for drum and developer and go to functions menu. Close the right door and start immediately the F8 function. It should work.
