Sometimes the Icons are locked in the programs and you have to go into where it says uninstall or change programs. Look over the list that comes up and if that one is in there hit THAT ONE ONLY AND HIT UNINSTALL. Do NOT hit any others as it will take out the good ones too.

Meaning of black box In left corner of samsung sl605

Page 17 of the manual says the black box in the left top corner is the recording mode icon. In this icon you can see what menu you have chosen in the recording mode. In the left bottom of the display is the icon for the drive mode. It tell you if you are taking single pictures continues mode or are taking 5 frames per second (max 30 frames) or taking 3 pictures and compining the three.

I just bought my samsung 22 inch monitor, and in the top left corner there is a display that won't go away. It have tried every single button on the remote and the monitor and it will not go away.

What is the content of the display? This sounds like one of the
family of viruses that hackers use. The smallest unwanted display
that I experienced was a simple period "." in the upper left oorner.
That told me that a hacker had placed some unwanted software
in my computer -- virus or other -- and I had to remove the application
and reload it. That little period "." also showed up on my Explorer
application and I had to reload that one also. My Mac does not have
viruses.

@leemcdowall...

your concern points to some adjustments of resolution from your set top box, as we all know all TV'S has fixed resolution doesnt matter what brand and the only way you can change that is through your source which in this set up is your Beyonwiz, please consult their manual and see if you can change the resolution in their video set up page.

You need to go into the menu and go to the menu with a camera as the icon. Scroll until you find "IS mode". You can choose various settings but the best is "Continuous". That way, your camera always compensates for camera shake.

Just let Windows install IE 8 and now the desktop picture is over

Change the resolution. Right click in the middle of the screen over nothing, and select properties then select the settings tab and move the slider left for larger resolution.

I want to download pictures from a disk to my computer. Please help

If you have the pictures on a disc, USB drive, floppy disk, or any other source, you can follow these steps to save them on your computer:
Double-click the "My Computer" icon on your desktop. You should now see a list of drives. Some of them will be your Hard Drives (Like the "C" Drive), and below them you should have all your "Devices with Removal Storage" drives.
Under Devices with Removable Storage, search for your CD drive. It should have an icon of a disc, and possibly a meaningful name saying what's on the disc itself (Depending on how it was burned). Double-click that icon, and you should be able to see the list of files and directories on that disc.
Navigate through the directories until you find the picture you want to copy.
Using your mouse, right-click the file (or directory) you would like to copy. A context menu should open up next to the file.
Left-click the word "Copy".
Close the My Computer window, and return to the desktop.
Double-click the "My Documents" icon on your desktop.
At the top-left corner of the screen, search for a menu called "Edit". Click it, and select "Paste".
That's it, your files should now be copied to your computer.
