Question about Microsoft Xbox 360 Console

1 Answer

Connection Interrupted I get a similar problem when playing certain games including Call of Duty 2 Call of Duty World at War. The error message apears on the screen virtually every 30secs - 60secs. Apparently, this is called "Lagging". The XBox is within less than 5 meters of the router. I also consistently use my laptop connected to the same router wirelessly. This problem has not occurred in the past 6 months or more, but has suddenly started to happen in the last couple of days. Has anyone got any ideas why this is occurring and how to resolve it please? Will really appreciate any helpful advice to sort it out. many thanks

    Hi there,

Thanks for the suggestion. Have investigated this and all seems fine with internet. Also tried at a different address location using another internet ISP connection and different router. Still experienced the same problem. Read a post on another forum suggesting it;s the NAT setting that is misconfigured, but unfortunately didn't offer any further info on where to find it or how to resolve it. It's also been suggested the fault has arisen sice Microsoft applied a patch recently. Think they are aware now of the problem and they plan tp adda fix patch on the next scheduled downtime on Tuesday. If that is the case, you would have thought thay would have regression tested their software upgrade first before releasing it... or am I just being slightly cynical?!

Well, the issue you are experiencing could be caused by slow internet. Even if you have a connection - it may be a slow one that can't keep up with the server. Another reason that this could be happening is the server itself is lagging, but if it happens to you consistantly I would put bets on it being your internet.

I would definately keep updating whenever you can if you think it's Microsoft related. (which is completely possible)

I will keep trying to find more information for you tomorrow - I'm signing out for the day. Take care and good luck!

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

You can move the Wii closer to the router or if you are using Nintendo's USB wifi it would probably work faster with a wifi router.

there have been scripting errors on COD:WaW where it has trouble with the graphics card. when you turn it on, does it say 'error code E74'? if so, you will need a new graphics card.

My PS3 wont even start the latest system update, COD WAW (Error)

First try to update the PlayStation software itself and then update the COD.
Due to specs of PS3 soft none of updates will allow background download. and make sure that your internet connection is uninterrupted, I sugest u to use wired connection rather than wireless, and while update is in progress try to keep all other internet connection requiring equipment offline for smoother process.

Update me about your progress

Good luck
