HI, try replacing the A/V cords with a new set. if this doesn't help, it may be an issue concerning the integrated video chip set that is part of the main mother board.
In this case, you will need to contact Sony for this repair.
(make sure your video settings are set to the proper video output and, sound compatibility in the PS3 settings section)
