Question about Samsung LE40R72BDX 40 in. HD-Ready LCD Television
I'm connecting my laptop to my plasma tv but my laptop is not displaying the colour red on the projected image on the tv. Ant ideas?
It sounds like the cable is faulty. I presume it is a VGA cable as these are prone to wires breaking inside and colours going missing. Try bending the cable around a bit esp. near the connectors and see if the colour flashes on and off as you do this. If so you might be able to temporarily fix it if you can find a position for the cable where the colours are all working and tape the cable in this position. It might also mean than a pin is missing in one of the connectors.
Either way, I reckon you are going to need a new cable.
