Question about Dell INSPIRON 600M HARD DRIVE CADDY 6X609 (6X610)
I have DELL inspiron 600m laptop. The video graphics driver i am using is ATI mobility radeon 9000 version A7.
I am trying to connect my laptop to the tv using the composite in cable.
I went to desktop properties > settings. When I select the ''Extendmy Windows desktop onto this monitor'' checkbox and press the apply button, it won't save the setting and removes the checkmark in the checkbox.
I tried the latest version of graphics driver ATI mobility radeon 9000 version A10.Still having the same issue.
The reason why your TV is showing no input from your laptop is because
of the display resolution of your graphics card, which is higher than
what the TV can handle.
What you can try is, when your system is powered up, just go to your display settings, then reduce the systems display resolution to--preferably 800x600, then go to where you normally select the output, and select 'Output to external monitor"...this should send the signal input to the monitor.
Most Laptop graphics display resolution are generally very powerful as compared to what the TVs can handle.
I have actually dealt with a no input signal like this before, and this was what I did.
Hope this helps.
