Copiers do not normally have hard drives. they receive the instructions to print from the computer when you press print
the item to be printed goes into a random memory of the copier and when the instruction is completed , it is lost
however , what you printed will still be on the hard drive of the pc
under the programs box that you get when you click on the start button , there is a small search box
type in there what you want and enter and the computer will search all files and folders that have been saved
open up what you are looking for

HDD mount failure on Toshiba 351c copier

"HDD mount" means it has an internal hard drive (HDD, or hard disk drive), and the copier has failed to "mount" (place in operation) that disk drive. That error means that the internal hard drive has failed and needs to be replaced. It will very likely need to be a special proprietary hard drive, preloaded with some sort of operating system for the copier, and you'll need to get it from a dealer.

I have a second hand Canon IRC3100. The computer is networked to this copier, however, it will not print and has a message "Scanning has stopped because the memory is full" Can anyone help

Navigate through the menus, in order to "delete previous scan images" (that are stored on a disk-drive inside the printer). Very sloppy of the previous owner of the printer to _NOT_ "delete" all those scanned items, before selling the printer. Post all those scans to Wiki Leaks. :-)

My scan feature became disconnected during a power outage.

Make sure ToshibaScans.Ink is not set as read or write only file.

Go to the file, right click, properties, check to make sure boxes are not marked, then hit apply.

What does NG mean for Status after sending a scanned item or faxed item?

    Hi,

    Hi,
I can advise you on the 'memory full' problem, mate.

If you get a MEMORY FULL message while scanning the first page of a fax, press Stop to cancel the scan. If you get a MEMORY FULL message while scanning in a subsequent page, you’ll have the option to press Start to transmit the pages scanned
so far, or to press Stop to cancel the operation. In this case, send the fax by the Manual Transmission.
Depending on your typical faxes, MEMORY FULL errors can occur frequently. If this happens, change the Memory Transmission setting back to OFF.

    Thanks.

Need to scan an email and email it back

Hi, after the item/s are scanned you should be taken through a series of prompts, one being to save the scanned item/s. Can't tell by your description at what point you are having trouble. So I may be covering some areas you may already be familiar with. After you have saved item/s to a location where you can access it, depending on how the item was saved, such as in the Windows and Fax Viewer or similar. If you are using Microsoft Windows that is. Place cursor over the saved file, right click and place cursor over "Send To" where a drop down menu will have some options, select "Mail Recipient" and it should open up your preferred email program with the item/s attached ready for you to enter the email address where you want to send it to. If not then open your email program that you wish to use and select the option to write send or compose mail depending on which program you use, select "add attachment" then select "Browse" and when you locate the item right click it and click "Select" which should place the item/s into an attachment.

Hope this helps. Ratings are very important to us so I want to thank you in advance for taking a moment to rate my response.
