Has been standing for a while but batteries were removed and stored indoors with regular charging. Running fine- just the incessant beeping!!
Shortage on wiring.. or your pc board is defective. Start by evaluating your head light and pc board.

Hi. That fault is the speed lever. It can also be the small dial that alters your top speed. It pays to replace both of these at the same time. Some of these machines also develope the same fault from a faulty controller. Good luck. Neil.

Red light flashing 7 times is likely caused by problem with the speed control dial. Most likely something is wrong with the contacts. This type of problem needs attention by the service centre nominated for Rascal scooters in your area.
