You have a very old motherboard here. It only supports the older AGP 8x video cards. Good luck finding one of those anymore that is worth the price, and don't expect anything you find to be new in box. This is probably where your HD video woes start, although the board was never designed for the higher frame rates that HD requires to be viewable.

As far as the processor goes, this board has the Socket 478 for Intel processors. There are no dual-core processors that are supported by this socket. Here is a link to an article that shows what processors are supported by the socket. Be advised, however, that depending upon the BIOS revision on the board, some of these may not work properly, if at all.

Socket 478 Socket mPGA478B

Really, if you want to view HD, it's time for a real upgrade.

PC Upgrade for a biostar p4m90-m7a motherboard

Biostar Support > P4M90-M7A > Main Support page,

http://www.biostar-usa.com/mbdetails.asp?model=K8M80-M7A

Uses a Socket 754 processor socket.

How pray-tell are you using an Intel processor that uses an LGA 775 processor socket?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LGA_775

You aren't.
What is the motherboard manufacturer name, and model number?
Post back in a Comment.

However if we are to use the Biostar P4M90-M7A for an example;

Biostar main support page above;
Top right; small subheading -> Support
Click on the blue, (Purple?) subheading -> CPU Support

As for the motherboard in question that uses the Intel Pentium Dual Core E2200, find out what the motherboard chipset is, then you will know what CPU's are supported.

(You know now that the processor socket is an LGA 775)

Use CPU-Z from CPUID.com (TINY program, and Free),

http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html

A) List of Intel Chipsets;

B) Comparison of AMD Chipsets;

C) Comparison of Nvidia Chipsets;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_Nvidia_chipsets

D) List of VIA Chipsets;

The Northbridge chip of the motherboard chipset, handles the Processor. (Plus Ram Memory, and HIGH-speed graphics),

P4m80-m4 usb giving 1.0 instead 2.0

You have not mention your Operating System(OS) on your PC System.

To get USB 2.0 support for VIA Chipset Mainboard
1. For Win 98 OS, you have to install "VIA chipset USB 2.0 driver"
2. For WinXP OS you must install, at least Service Pack 1, (recommended you install the lastest Service Pack 3) to to get USB 2.0 support.
3. Install the VIA Chipset drivers for your Mainboard ie "VIA Hyperion 4-in-1 driver v5.12A".

Hope it helps.

After flash BIOS DMI Update fails ?

If you are able to boot into Windows, don't try it again. If you are not able to, try to reflash it. If that fails, contact the tech support for the bios and see if they have any suggestions, sadly I doubt they will. You may end up having to replace the mother board.

Will P4M80-M4 motherboard support dual channel memory?

This is an older board. The VIA chipset pre-dates dual channel memory support. If your board is working fine, this should not be a concern.
