It could be the graphic card is not setup for the system you have. I would get the driver from the manufacture on the web for the monitor and or update the setup that came with your system also from the manufacture of your computer. IF that don't work I would try another Monitor.

If too much width or over-scan you would need to find the access code to enter the tech menu and adjust width.

Contact Onida to see if they will help with this--care must be taken if you attempt that as one wrong move and poof--set damaged beyond repair.

Hello, I need some more details so I can help, whether the image has grown in height or width? Or that the picture has grown at once, even height and width together? In addition I need the TV model, it says on the sticker at the back of the TV.

after 4 or 5 yrs EHT ( transformer that supplies voltage to CRT TUBE - MONITOR TUBE ) becomes weak - then 1 of the indication is ....picture becomes dull (less brightness & less contrast ) ........so solution is EHT ( also called as flyback transformer ) should be replaced....... {{ few details about EHT---- its size will be around 3inch X 2inch X 2inch ---it will have 2 or 3 knobs to adjust focus , brightness ------ at bottom around 10 pins will be there ------- from EHT 1 thick red colour cable goes to CRT TUBE --------- on EHT its part number will be there }} -------- so if user is a technical person having idea about components ( resistors, transistors, diodes, etc ) , having tools like multimeter ( to check components) , soldering iron, soldering lead, flux, desoldering wig ( for removing components), etc also little experience in servicing field( compulsory) ----------------- then user can remove EHT from main board ---- take to electronic shop ----- buy same type EHT --------- fix to mainboard ( knobs on EHT should be adjusted according to picture --- after switching monitor --- this adjustment is very important ) ----------iam from bangalore (09986222774, [email protected]) ----- here EHT's price will be around Rs 250 ( US $ 6 ) & for my customers (in bangalore) i will take another Rs 500 (US $ 11) as sevice charge......i don't have any idea about EHT ' s price & service charge in your place.........since it is very risky job i suggest to contact monitor service engineer ------- because they are highly experienced & can fix this component very easily..

first of all check weather the width is getting varied from the front panel menu. if there is a vary in width but not full, then need to vary in factory level settings with the help of JIG software provided by Sansung with KIT. The KIT is connected between the CPU and the Monitor.

IF there is no change in width with the front menu, then chage the high voltage PF capacitors at Width section and EHT section(near output transistor (near LOT)).

Dear You need to adjust the computer resoultion to one of the following..


1088 x 612

1280 x 720

1360 x 768

you can increase it more; depends on your graphic card installed in system..

HOw to change the resoultion??

First right-click on the desktop and then left click on Properties from the menu that appears.

The display properties dialogue box will appear as shown in fig 1.1 below, click on the settings tab at the top right of the box.



Screen Resolution
This slide bar is what you use to change the resolution, the options you have will depend on your graphics card and monitor.

Changing the Resolution
To change your resolution simply slide the bar along to the resolution of your choice and then click the Apply button.

After clicking Apply your screen will resize to the new resolution and you will be presented with a confirm dialogue box (see left), if you are happy with the way your screen looks then simply click Yes, if you would like to try a different resolution click No.

When you have finished simply close the Display properties box.

Check components related with pots thats adding command ic to pots.If they are ok then change command ic with new one.Before this you can check horizantal hold transistor that is placed on hitsink of eht.small in size and check two small transistor placed near it on pcb.Hope this solution works .If not then i am here
