I hate giving someone bad news but this model set has a lot of main board issues, there have been many revisions to the original board trying to rectify the issues., you need to match your set to the date code or serial number to get the correct board, the bad news is the main boards can be hard to find and quite costly. A new board should correct the issues you're seeing, we have seen this model with main issues a number of times times in our shop
Question:
We've recently changed C2951-VSEC data line providers and now have some Cisco 877
routers we'd like to reconfigure and use at other sites. Although we own these,
they were configured by our old data line providers, I'm having a hard time of
resetting them to factory defaults and am after some advice.
The simple, hold down the reset button until it restarts does not work.
If I press the reset button within 5 seconds of power up to load the
default rom image, I get the below:
I assume from this the required bin has either been removed, renamed or
overwritten.
As soon as the router boots it requires a password and I dont have the
password to be able ftp files in and out of it.
Hope you guys can help.
The T-Con board is embedded in the main board and not in the power supply/LED Driver board.
The Main board part number should be BN94-09124C but I would suggest to do more research or call Samsung for more info.
Especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board. http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/
***There's also a manufaturer's notice: If you replace the digital main board (BP94-00385A) you must replace the main analog board (BP94-00434A) per mfg bulletin# ASC20040728004.***
