Number one make sure your harness connections are good. Then check with a meter that power is going in the controller. Check output of the controller. If you are near the controller look for fuses. Scooter Doctor App

SOURCE: batteries won't charge
Hi. Sounds like there is a faulty connection somewhere between the charger and the batteries. Are the batteries connected correctly. The charger uses the voltage level in the batteries to regulate itself. If there is a faulty connection, then the charge will not operate. Use a multi-meter to check if the batteries are connected correctly. There should be 24 to 26 volts across both batteries.
This fault can also be caused by a faulty charger socket. Check for any signs of melting or heat damage. There might also be a disconnected wire in the plug on the charger itself.Good luck. Neil.

Hi Linda. Sometimes if there is a blown fuse or faulty connector on the battery leads, the charger thinks the batteries are charged as the voltage coming out of the charger rises to the high level. Some chargers will cut out if this happens. It is probably not the charger.
Make sure the batteries are plugged in correctly, sometimes during transport they will get knocked and become disconnected.
Also make sure that the battery terminals are not loose where the wires connect to the batteries.
Good luck. Neil.
SOURCE: My legend scooter got left
Hi themorrows,
I have owned my own business for 3 years and have been working on scooters and powerchairs for 15 years. Very difficult to determine exactly the problem without running a diognostic. However, my experience indicates several areas of concern.
1. The faceplate on the tiller has a databoard where everything from the controller in the back plugs into. If that got wet it will short out and nothing will work.
2. If the controller in the back near the transaxle gets wet it to will stop the scooter from starting. Anytime water gets near electronics the water will follow the wires directly into the works and shorts out anything in it's path. Either way it doesn't look good. You need to take it to you closest Durable Medical Equipment Company for analysis.
Good Luck
Tim

okay there sounds like there either water somewhere or condensation ?
place the whole scooter in a warm room next to a radiator, not too close but close enough so it gets the warmth leave it like this to dry out, this has worked for me, water causing a short either under the tiller panel or where the controller is situated.
