I have a Kubota G6200 hst lawn tractor. Mowing the other day and it started sputtering. Then the forward/reverse pedal quit working.It starts great. just will not move.

Only problems that come to mind are rather obvious ones. My first guess would be a broken HST belt- the one from the engine to transmission- OR part of that belt assembly (idler pulley, slipped off a pulley, broken tension spring). Another possibility would be the pedal linkage. Maybe a pin fell out of that somewhere and the linkage isn't engaging the transmission.

go to your kubota dealer

Check if the return spring fell off.

I turn the key on my kubota hst g 1700 and I hear it clicking but doesn't turn over. Someone told me there is a common wire fault somewhere. Can anyone help. Thank you

test the safety switch on the brake pedal and the pto switch

After I press the brake pedal my Kubota does move backwards or forward what can be the cause

Check your linkage connected to your transmission gear shift lever.

sounds like the by pass rod has been pulled out

a hydro uses a foot pedal on the right side , you push forward to go forward or rock the pedal rearward to go in reverse - a regular transmission has a shifter usually between your legs for reverse 1st 2nd or 3rd gear - you also said the blades wont engage . are they electric ( with a switch ) or do you manually move a lever .
