Question about Whirlpool GEW9200L Electric Dryer
E1 fault code means that there is an open thermistor.
The thermistor is faulty and must be replaced.
The thermistor is located on top of the blower housing. To reach it you have to remove the pane located at the front bottom side of the appliace, below the door side. Panel is held by two screws. Pictures below shows how it will look behind the panel:
