Sounds like the drain is clogged, it usually comes out if the outside of the unit just below the coil in the middle of the back, there may or may not be a hose attached to the front pan below the evaporator, try pressuring it up to blow it out. worst case you may have to remove from the window, disassemble and clean. hope this helps...

Dirty Water & gurggling & spitting sounds coming from toilets

I assume that the toilet flushes and refills with clean water? Check the vent- for debris or critters. If nothing is apparent, stick a hose in it and run water down the vent.

Dirty Water in toilets, gurggling & spitting sounds

Are you on a well or city water? Septic tank shouldn't matter as it is below the level of the water in the toilet. It is coming from the fill water.

Hi, i have a 2000 gmc jimmy and whenever it rains

How old is the cap? Could the new one be bad? Also when it won't start do you see any sparks jumping from the coil or wires?

It's two years old, and is now spitting out lots of water.

Should have a drain on the unit. Check for ports that have debris in them on the outside of the unit. Clean the debris out and the unit should drain normally.

I have a Frigidaire cooling and heating unit. Last night we had freezing rain and ice. I heard a weird noise coming from the unit then smelled a burning smell. I turned the unit off. The top vent...

Sounds like the motor burned up when the ice blocked the air which it was not able to cool the motor it will need to be replaced. (the motor)

AC roof unit stops cooling after rain

No, the units are sealed and the rain should not have affected the system at all. I would remove the outer cover of the unit and access the capacitors. Your start capacitor may be bad. You can visually inspect this and tell if there is a problem. Small black relay on top of capacitor often burns out, if so, replace capacitor and relay. If this looks fine, then we need to start at the thermostat and work our way forward.

Thanks,

Jeff

My haier a/c window unit is spitting water through the vent

check the filter located behind the front panel it usually snaps out also make sure the drain holes on the out side bottom of unit are not stopped up and that the unit is leaned back slightly for drainage freezing is a sign of low air flow or low on freon the coil actually gets colder when freon starts to leak out hope this helps with your problem

Mold smell coming from my 2004 dodge durango unlimited

the A/C can also cause this have the A/C checked out because it could be the evaporator and also if the orifice is bad in the accumulator you will get this smell because the freon is not circulating and even when the A/C is not on the A/C compresser comes on when the defroster is on just in reverse

3 places where water could be coming from, The Ground, The venting system or the Condensate. Eliminate each one by first checking the condensate piping and check to make sure it is draining to the drain. Blow thru all hoses to make sure they are not blocked. Secondly, spray with a garden hose the venting system to see if the water is entering the system thru the venting. Lastly, if this happens only when it rains, you could have a ground water drainage issue.
