Question about Heating & Cooling
We had a bad rain storm last night. this morning the ac was spitting water out the vent. i do not smell freon just water. and it is making noise. the drain plug is on the side not the bottom. could it just be wet inside?
Sounds like the drain is clogged, it usually comes out if the outside of the unit just below the coil in the middle of the back, there may or may not be a hose attached to the front pan below the evaporator, try pressuring it up to blow it out. worst case you may have to remove from the window, disassemble and clean. hope this helps...
