You may have too many opened applications in the tablet memory, so the computer has to swap applications out of memory into a temporary storage section (in computer language it is a called "paging") and load up the next application, thus taking time from running your applications themselves. I recommend installing one of several "cleaning" tools, such as "CCleaner" or "AVG" (which is also a virus checker). Run them often and let them clean your tablet's memory. There are smaller version of PC/Windows and smartphone applications and are free, but will post messages for upgrading to the paid versions.
AVG will install a monitor and will tell you if any applications are still active, putting them to sleep if you are not using them ans saving memory. If you don't like one of the tools, just uninstall it and try another.
If they are using internal fixed memory and there is no way to connect an external SIMM memory chip. And you have reached the maximum memory of the devices configuration. Eg 16gb
Then the only way to free up space is to start removing Photos, Movies and APP's from your device. They all take up space in memory.
Hi I have seen a phone doing A similar thing try holding the power button down to c if it will reboot if U don't have any luck U might have to unhook battery . good luck
You will need to Factory Reset the tablet. Warning: You will loose everything on the tablet and it will be wiped out completely, returning it to the day you took it out of the box.
1. Turn unit off
2. Hold VOL+ and the Power button at the same time for a full 5 seconds then release both. A dead Android bot should show.
3. When the bot shows, again, hold the Power and VOL+ together, then release VOL+ first, then the Power button last.
From here, you should see "Android System Recovery" on the screen.
4. Used the VOL+ and VOL- to scroll through the selections to pick "wipe data/factory reset" and press the Power button.
5. Use the VOL buttons to move to "Yes - delete all user data" and hit Power to select.
6. Use the VOL buttons to select Reboot now and hit Power.
Once complete it's as if you opened the unit for the first time out of the box.
Make sure it's switched off when you charge it.Try to charge it for at least 12 hours. If still no success, try with a different charger, or through the USB cord. If still no success, probably a bad battery.
It has more to do with the device memory when your talking about it running slow , if she has a lot of music or media advise her to move them to the SD card instead of keeping it on the device memory itself .
