Usually broken dial tone means the line has call-forward set. You get broken tone for 3 or 4 seconds, then goes back to normal. Are you receiving incoming calls normally? It's common to set or cancel 'cause the code might kinda match a number you use. And it may be forwarded to nowhere, example, you dial 729-1111, but press 72#-1111. You might be forwarded to 1111, the code being 72#. The 1111 goes nowhere, someone calls you, calls gets forwarded, then they get a message"that number does not exist". If that's the code for your area, then 73# might be the cancel code. Check the front of the original phone book, or Google codes for your service provider.
Yes, i able to break the lock code just follow these steps

This worked on my KX-TG3611BX and might work on yours: Turn the dial lock off using the following method: 1 {MENU} --> {#} -> {2} -> {5} -> {1} 2 Press {*} -> {7} -> {0} -> {0} -> {0} 3 {Save} -> {Yes} -> {OFF}
