My headset stopped playing volume, how do I get it reset?

Try another headset first to isolate the problem. If the other headset is ok then I would check the in line volume control if fitted or it could be the cable is broken at the plug end or the headset end. if the second headset does not work either then check volume levels on phone. does phone speaker work ok. Can also be headset socket on phone worn out ?!

Sound level is inconsistant in headset. Unable to adjust volume with "rocker" buttons.

The Plantronics 510s system includes the 500A base and the Voyager 510 Bluetooth headset. Number "one" on the lower back of the 500A base is the loudest setting for your listening volume, I would also check to make sure that the compatibility setting on the left side of the 500A base is set to "one", so the number one should be lined up in the 3 o'clock position (which would also be lined up with the ridged area to the right). Number one compatibility setting is the most common setting for most phones. You can also try using the headset with a cell phone to see if the volume adjusts or not, if it still doesn't work properly, maybe the headset is just wearing out. Here is the link for the replacement headset:

We are using the Plantronics CS55 wireless headsets. The users are complaining that the '3-beep' incoming call alert tones are too loud. We have tried to adjust this tone level by manipulating...

Lowering the ring volume on the phone only decreases the sensitivity of the lifter, which generates the signal to the headset. The signal volume between the two is preset and cannot be adjusted.

I have the Plantronics S11 headset and I can hear callers, but they can't hear me, I need to know what to do. The phone is working fine and everything is all set up correctly as far as I can tell.

There are a couple of basic things to check first. You want to make sure the mute is turned off and your outgoing (mic) volume is loud enough (there is the speak level switch on the side and the speak volume control on top). Also, you want to make sure it is connected through the handset jack on the phone (generally it will not work through the headset jack on the phone). Finally you want to make sure it's configured right (scale located on the side).

How do I control the volume on my Plantronics 220? Is the rocker switch on the side the volume?

There are two ways you can control volume on the headset. One is through the volume controls on the cell phone and second, through the volume switch located on the side of the headsets. There are five levels of volume on the headset.

Plantronics CS55. When using the wireless headset

Echo is usually caused by the transmit (speak) level on the unit being set too high.

1. First, try lowering the volume of the telephone. If you still hear an echo, adjust the volume of the headset itself.

2. The master transmit controls of the headset are the ABCD switch settings on the bottom of the base. A is the lowest and D is the highest setting.

3. You can fine tune this setting with the plus (+) and minus (-) buttons on the back of the charging base.

4. If this doesn't fix the echo, try moving the configuration dial on the left side of the charging base. The recommended setting for most phones is 1.
