Your situation sounds like it could be driver issue.. not knowing any of the details of your computer, you will want to find the most up to date driver you can and install it.
In some situations, it could also be a hardware issue... if the wireless device in your laptop is faulty.. turning it on will create the BSOD. Then, the only solution is to replace the wireless device....
