Install itunes on your PC/Mac. Once your installation is complete. It will ask you whether it should search your computer for music files. Click YES
Once done you can add music to your ipod (make sure it is connected to your computer through USB cable provided) by either drag & drop from the music window to your ipod icon or through automatic synchronization of music. By default iTunes & ipod automatically manage music. This way your entire library or selected playlists are copied directly on your ipod.
There is no other way to transfer music so you can listen to it on your ipod. Let me know if this helps or i will send video links or screen shots.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

How do I transfer music from my i-pod to a new computer?

A neighbor wanted me to do some uploading onto her iPod and I do not have one, nor an iTunes. It was very simple for me to get it up and running.

You will just need to download/install iTunes on the new computer:
https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

And when you hook your iPod to your new computer you will give permission to the pop-up setup. Add your account and so on.

Wont to know how to keep some of my music with out deleting the lot l have an i pod touch

hi, easiest way is to install itunes on a computer. you can then move music to and from the ipod. its a good idea to back up your music you've purchased off the ipod in case of device failure. make sure you use the help features on itunes and proceed slowly, its easy to wipe your whole library by sync-ing before the music is off loaded.
apple has decent customer service if you have ?'s
good luck!

Sony NW A806 mp3 not registering what is on memory

If i want to make reference to I POD particularly, you know that you don't copy and paste music onto your i pod except through I tunes player if you do, it will only appear as a music file but will not play neither will the i pod see it, maybe that's how they have designed this one too. So what you have to do is check the installation CD it came with(if any) and install it to your system.

Problems installing i pod program

The only valid tool for loading music on an iPod is iTunes.
Download the latest version Here.

Once you have installed iTunes, plug in your iPod and it should mount.
Apple has replaced all the old software with iTunes.
Good Luck!

I pod

Hi,

Unfortunately it's not quite that simple.

Delete all the music youve just put on there. Then download iTunes, add all your music to its library then plug your ipod in, it will then sync automatically.

Hope that helps.

UHG!

your computer has its own personal i-tunes for your i-pod and all your music is saved to that computer so if you plug your i-pod into someone elses computer it will eighther sync all thier music to your i-pod or it will erase all the music on your i-pod they dont have on thier computer...my sujjestion is to buy a plug in to the wall charger for your i-pod if your barely home to charge it. that way you keep your music yet charge your i-pod to.
