Lcd monitor model w1707

Same as you would for an HP w1907 monitor,

http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/globalcitizenship/environment/productdata/Countries/_MultiCountry/disassembly_monito_200931323546.pdf

If that doesn't work as a direct link, (It's a PDF file. May take up to 30 seconds before first page comes up), then use this page from HP Support,

http://www.hp.com/hpinfo/globalcitizenship/environment/productdata/disassemblymonitors.html?jumpid=reg_r1002_usen_c-001_title_r0001#.UXhHK0r3HFx
Scroll down to one of the w1907's.
Do not take that metal box shield off, of the motherboard. There is a capacitor, or capacitors, that are holding a charge. Charge is BAD to FATAL.
(Charge is held for weeks, months, many times over a year; after unit has been unplugged from power)

(You did see on the plastic Back Cover, where it states -> Electrocution hazard, and No user serviceable parts, right?)

I have to scroll right or left to view the whole screen

Right click your desktop and look for display settings, you want to change the resolution to one that is small enough for screen but large enough to read still.

There's something wrong with your Web site, but you don't know what. You've created a Web site and you want people to visit and read it, but for some reason no one's showing up. What could be wrong? Here are some common issues you might have with your Web site without even realizing it.

  1. No One Can Find Your Web Site - They're looking for a Web site just like yours. They go to the search engine and type in their keywords but your Web site is nowhere to be found.

  2. Your Web Pages Are Lost - They finally found your Web site and are looking for a specific Web page but try as they might, they can't find it.

  3. Web Pages Load Slow or Incorrectly - The reader found the Web page he wanted but it took forever to load or things are jumping around on the page while loading. Worse yet, the Web page loaded but it didn't load right.
  4. JavaScript Errors - You decided to add JavaScript to your Web page but you're getting an error.
  5. Text Too Large, Too Small - You want it to be just right. If the text is too small users with a high screen resolution, or bad eyesight, will have trouble reading it. If the text is too large people will have to scroll to read it.
    Use the Right Size

  6. Requiring Downloads - You added music or some other program to your Web site and it requires your readers to download software in order to view it but they don't have the software and don't want it.
    Use Software with Care
  7. Bad Spelling or Grammar - Your reader is reading your Web pages and notices that you're not a good speller or you often leave words out or your grame is just bad.

Files appear too large on Acer monitor

If you just want to change the size of the font of the web pages you are visiting...all you have to do is hold down the CTRL key while tapping the + or the - key the will increase and decrease the font size.

To check the resolution just right click in an empty area of the desktop and scroll down to properties....you can play around with the resolution there....don't worry, you get 15 seconds to decide if you like the setting before it reverts back to the previous setting.

Pictures on wallpaper are now stretched with my HP

Depends on whether or not you are using Windows XP or Vista. Either way you need to right click on the desktop anywhere on empty space and go to properties. From there choose the tab that refers to Desktop, then you will have the option of something like "position". There you will want to choose Tiled or Centered, not Stretched which is what you currently have. That will fix the issue.

Hp w1907 Monitor problems

Sorry to her about your Monitor problems.
In the feature it would help to know what kind of monitor, the brand and model.
If this is a option, turn the monitor on, when you get image on the screen, press the menu key and scroll around until you find factory setting.
Restore to factory setting may bring the unit back and out of sleep status.
Try it, it may work..!!!

Volume pop up in the middle of my screen

no photos of said window presented? i cant see them?
must be OSD? the monitor brain on screen display (menu)?
even with the DVI cable pulled?
only a monitor stated, w1907, no PC
some monitors have button lock
read the manual ?oops HP deleted it...
it tells you to push the menu key on the monitor for 10 seconds
and it unlocks. (4 buttons right side left button is MENU)
doom?
that power deal sounds super bad, like the power supply is bad.
if the monitor fails by its self not plugged it to a PC
then the monitors is bad.
try a reset on it? ( power off for 1hr, or off then plug in with power button held? or power on with menu held (wild guesses but common practice)
ok found your manual page 4-8 shows menu page advanced
list line in list factory reset.
but if the keys are dead, and power lamp failing
the power supply is no good or worse. worse is always possible.
and expensive

ever see the support page, read the guides
?

its over 10 years old now. 2007?
walmart has larger one for $50
cheaper that parts or repair this.... vastly
