Save Data if possible.
Use Restore System; Restore Computer to Factory "New" Condition.. Sont Vaios have a Key Prompt which you hold down while booting and the Replacement Software already on a Sector of the Hard Drive. Check THe Manuel for this OR CALL SONY CUSTOMER SERVICE AND JUST GIVE THEM THE MODEL NUMBER AND ASK THEM WHICH BUTTON YOU PUSH ETC TO RESTORE THE COMPUTER TO "FACTORY CONDITION"

The Sony Vaio softwares are not updated correctly, That's the reason it might be crashing, on the other hand you always need to consider the Windows Update as well. My suggestion would be:
in the Start Search box.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Continue.
Need help with windows update, check the link below.
After installing all the latest updates, Restart the machine.

I had the same problem , i was using a spanish date format.
I changed the date format to an english format (mm/dd/yyyy) and now all vaio programs work ok at start up and afterwards.

This isn't really a necessary program; unless you want to answer Sony's questions they may have for you from time-to-time. It's what it says it is, a Survey program. You can go to Control Panel and remove it from your computer. That should fix the problem. Start Button\Control Panel\Programs & Features (Add & Remove programs), then find the Survey program and uninstall\remove it. Then reboot your computer. Hi guys. I'm a Technical Support Agent for the Sony VAIO.
Please open the C: Drive > Programs x86 Folder > Sony > satsurvey or survey, then, delete the vaiosatsurvey.exe File from there. It should successfully resolve the issue. Hope it helps. I took remote sessions and resolbved many issues.
