Patti when you change the main control board you have to reprogram the refrigerator to understand the board there is a code just below the model number and here are the instructions you need to follow them carefully
Programming Mode:
NOTE: The Program Code is located on the Serial Plate on this unit after the word "Code."
1. Press and hold the Door Alarm Keypad .
2. Press and hold Freezer Temperature Down Keypad within 3 seconds .
3. Release the Door Alarm Keypad and wait 3 seconds.
4. The control will display PE to indicate the programming mode.
5. Entry is confirmed by pressing the Freezer Temperature Down Keypad once more.
6. The control will display the current Program CODE. This value should be validated with the Program CODE printed on the unit serial plate. NOTE: If the Program CODE is correct, the Programming Mode is exited by pressing Door Alarm Keypad for 3 seconds.
7. Press the Refrigerator Temperature Up Keypad or Refrigerator Down Keypad to change the digit value with each key press.
8. The decimal point indicates the selected digit. Press the Freezer Temperature Up Keypad to select the next digit.
9. Once the desired Program CODE is entered, press and hold the Freezer Temperature Down Keypad until the Program CODE begins flashing indicating it has been saved. NOTE: If you attempt to enter an invalid Program CODE the control will not save the new code, but will beep. (The unit will NOT run with a Program CODE of 0000).
Once the Program CODE has been saved the Programming Mode is exited by pressing any key. If the new code is incorrect this process should be repeated. The Programming mode can be exited at any time by pressing Door Alarm key for 3 seconds or will exit if unattended for four minutes.

SOURCE: My admiral fridge freezer suddenly stopped working -
I took the time to look up your Model # and you do have the right board. Jazz 14 Should just be a revision one higher than your origional. Describe to me exactly what happens when you try to program it. You may be missing one little step. Make sure you are doing every step exactly right. I too can miss one little confirmation stroke and it seems like it wont work. I Can email you the tech sheet for your model. This will show you how to test all the sensors, and the damper to determine why the FF side is getting too cold. I will also help on my end as much as i can

i just called Maytag (now Whirlpool) @1-800-253-1301. They are shipping me a free control panel and are also paying for a certified installer to come to my home to do the exchange.
I told them when I called that I learned from the internet that it was a quality issue and they did not disagree. They processed the order and offered the installation without me asking.
My refrigerator is out of warranty so they covered it as a quality issue. We enjoy our refrigerator and have not had any other problems accept when we first received it and someone had to come and adjust the icemaker. Yes the icemaker is small by some standards but it meets our needs. When we need lots of ice, for guests we just buy a bag for less than a buck.
Great service response from Maytag. Thanks.
SOURCE: maytag mff2557hew fridge not cooling. Freezer ok.
Sounds like the Freezer Fan is wearing out or is worn out. This fan problem is very hard to detect. The reason is that when the motor is starting to wear out the fan will spin, but at a much lower rpm. This is enough to keep the freezer cold. but will not ciculate enough air thru the freezer and the refrigerator to prevent freezer from and refrigerator from cooler. The cost to repair/replace this fan is a minimum of $300.00
Testimonial: "Your solution was right on the mark! The fan was spinning but not fast enough (according to my repair guy). Thanks again!"
