Rebuilt cd4e reinstalled and has no 3rd 4th gear

Im assuming it is a 4 speed transmission and if you are using the "tap shift" which is for performance situations and you wouldnt typically need 4th gear. What speeds are you trying to go into 4th? If you are going too slow it wont upshot because you rpms might drop too low. Will it not go into 4th at highway speeds?

If it was a Professional job... Take it immediately back.

If you did it yourself... (oh well)...
make out a list of everything already done and
LOOK EVERYWHERE ELSE.

Not getting 3rd & 4th is not subtle... but if it was NOT FAILING like that before you started = WORK ERROR.

you need to change the oil in the auto box. if this dont help then the servo in the auto box is sticking.

try to adjust the cable from transmission that control the transmission shifting if there no cable adjust the electronic transmission shifter located near the accelerator cable

You have a failed ******, pull it out and have it rebuilt.

You have a C6 transmission, your sincros are bad you need to have the trans rebuilt... No way getting aroungd it. I use to work for Chrysler and Dodge as a tech.

Change the transmission fluid ant if that doesn't work then the transmission needs rebuilt or replaced. If you get on craigslist someone might be selling a transmission for cheap or check the salvage yards.
