Sound ok, power on, see a blue screen for 1 second, then black. Channels change, sound is fine, but still no picture.

Same problem with mine. Turned the tv on this morning and I can hear the sound but not see anything, not even menu, sound bars, etc. Channels change, side buttons work, but no picture.

I have the same thing. I turn it on and get sound but no just a black screen. I can't get source list to come up or menu or anything. I know it is not my satellite service because my other TV works fine. This is the 3rd time it has done it and the TV is only 2 years old.

hooked up hdtv cable from xbox 360 to tv sound fine black tv av jacks works fine on my smaller hdtv.

Screen goes black, sometimes frequentyly, sometimes works for couple hourts. Sound is OK.

Every now & then when I turn tv (Aquos LCD hdtv) on sounds comes on but picture is black. Usually turning it off and on again gets picture, but I wonder how long that will last.

same problem, black screen, sound fine, phoned a few engineers who told me basically to scrap it!
