SOURCE: can you run a 1200w

depends on what the RMS is for the subs because although the subs are 1200 watts, there is a minumim standard you have to follow. If you don't atleast run the lowest wattage thru them, then you will most definately damage the speakers....you should also be aware of the fact that your "600w Pioneer-4 channel amp doesn't even push a true 600 watts... Your best bet is to upgrade ur amp, or add an additional amp to your set-up. And you really need to pay close att to over or under running your power to your stereo system because you'll burn out ur altenator rather quickly. Use proper wattage , and you should also look into getting a power-cell which lessens the chances of destroying your altenator and helps to ensure that your stereo system sounds to its full potential.....

I have 2 pioneer 6x9 400w, pioneer GM 6500f 760w amp and a kenwood KFC W1012 sub, how d i get the best sound from these?

pioneer gm 6500 is a 4 ch amp rated at 60w-4 way to small of an amp to run your sub. UNDER-POWERING your sub is more likely to damage spkr than over-powering. my advice, get mono-block to run sub

The blue light on my gm-6400f amp mean

Judging by your English literary skills (ebonics?) I doubt that you would "unnerstan" any possible solution to whatever you may be "axing".
My advice is to go back to school, learn to construct an intelligible sentence, and then "ax" us again. Gud luk.

It should be better to use the Pioneer GM-7200M Amp with your subs.

For 8 ohm setup hook up this way:
Amp out+ to Sub1 +
Sub1 - to Sub 2 +
Amp out - to Sub2 -

For 2 ohm setup hook up this way:
Amp + to Sub1 +
Sub1 + to Sub2 +
Amp - to Sub1 -
Sub1 - to Sub2 -

Witch is better

hi there. ill start with the wiring. you should have a blue remote lead going to the back of your head unit, the power cable running straight from the amp to the battry, the earth should be earthed in a fairly decent place, any metal inside the car realy, and then your wires pos and neg from the amp to the subs. the reason why the kenwood might not have much base on it is to my knowledge, there should be a switch somewhere on the amp that will increase or decrease the power input for the speakers, if this is set very low then hense why theres not much base comming from them. if the amp is on and its giving something to the subs it probably isnt the wiring. try checking the amp for the switch first, if you cant find it try the pioneer amp and see if theres any diference.
dont hesitate to contact me if you get stuck

cheers, adam

More bass

Run one set of RCA lines from head unit to amps if you only have one set of pre-outs on the head unit, then at the amps, use an electronic crossover to split between the two amps, and this will also allow you to control what frequencies go to which amps/speakers. You should use one amp for the speakers and the higher power amp for the subwoofer. You should not try to connect both to the subwoofer. Use 4gauge cables if possible. If you have more questions, just ask.
