Question about Samsung Televison & Video
After I turn on my Samsung TV, about 10-30 seconds later it turns itself off. Usually in which the 3 lights (Stand by/Temp, Time, and Lamp) on the front usually start flashing. I am still having the problem after the TV being stored for about 2 months. The screen itself does power on (looks normal) and I know it's not the Timer as I am able to view the menu screen and the Timer is not even activated.
I have seen a similar problem with a solution for replacing the bulb or ballast - would that help? Just trying to get an idea if I am able to fix it myself or need to take it to the repairman.
If all 3 lights blinks simultaneously at TV front shows problem with either lamp or ballast supply in TV.
I would recommend to have repair manual copy before attempting to repair TV. Check repair manual at Manual Zone and Servicemanual.net according to TV Model number.
Repair manual has exploded views, troubleshooting, part number details etc that will help you to fix problem in TV.
