Play CD ROM no proline 1280 - Computers & Internet

I recommend a mechanic to do this. do you any mechanic?

Does it boot? Is it getting power? Are the HDD, DVD/CD rom led's blinking? Need more info.

You will need to select your Operating system, then press the + next to Drivers, then select the driver package you want. To get the closest to what the CD had, select the FULL feature package, not the simple PCL or PS package.

CD ROM drive will play only 700 mb CD disks(normal CDs)...and not play DVD disks...u need DVD ROM drive to play DVDs....there is a big difference among both in it's function.
a DVD drive "may" play both DVDs and CDs....
but
a CD drive will "only" play CDs

first uninstall the drivers of CD-ROM and then again install the drivers you will see that it will play your CD.
If it doesn't play then check your CD-ROM jumper settings remove the pin and set it to slave mode.

does this drive tray front show this?. step1, page 33 in your manual
shows this. this is first, never last. it is NOW.

change the lens of DVD. its a common problem. due to over use.

1st use the old CD and format the partition and then try the new OS.
