In the most new there is an auto- power-off inside both or one of the carbon brushes that it will stop when its time, but when you hearing a difference in motor rpm or a strange noise then it can be neccesary.

SOURCE: my chipper is throwing long chunks of unchiped

Either your blades are dull or the gap between the intake tray by the blades is too far or is rounded off. Many chippers have a plate on the intake by the blades that can be flipped around when it rounds off. Also some have a edge on the other side of the blade so it can be reversed and give you a fresh edge. Be sure to unplug the sparkplugs and remove the key when going into your chipper to ensure no one can start it when your in it. There is usually a lock bar to keep the blades from moving.

SOURCE: need a manual for a 4-cylinder Asplundh Wood Chipper

Hello,
I don't really have a solution I do have the same problem no manual on engine. But I can offer a little more information on it. I believe the engines are 2.3 liter ford. If your engine still has points it doesn't mean that it is an old engine mine is a 2000 which is fairly new. They are Ford industrial engines not quite the same as what is in cars. The problem is no one knows anything about them.

SOURCE: What year is my wood

The B & S Code is the date of Mfg. This engine was built in 1994 (first two digits rep. the year), Sept.( the next two digits rep. the month) and the second day of that month. Your engine was built on Sept.2,1994. Your chipper may be one year newer as the engine had to be installed after the date of mfg. Your welcome

How remove feeder tray from 6600

Hi Ed Walsh,

When you say feeder tray, are you speaking of the document feeder tray, or the paper input tray? The document feeder tray is not customer replaceable so it will not be removable. The input paper tray is however removable. Perhaps you will find the support page for your Officejet 6600 helpful:
HP Officejet 6600 All in One Printer H711a H711g How to

I hope this helps.

Wood chips won't advance

You said, "wood chips won't advance." That may be the problem, the Bradley Smoker doesn't use wood chips. It uses a manufactured wood chip biscuit, that looks like a small hockey puck. These will feed automatically when the smoker calls for them. Loose wood chips won't.

The belt inside my scanjet 4200c has come off. How do I reattach it? I have opened the scanner. It looks to be relatively easy but I don't know how to attach the belt to the motor etc

Instructions

1 Lift the hatch on the feed tray and pull up the large green tab to the left of the roller. Remove any jammed or torn paper from under the roller and around the feed tray.
2 Pull the input feed tray out of the automatic document feeder. Grasp the feed tray with both hands and pull it straight out.
3 Check the interior of the automatic document feeder for jammed paper. Remove any jammed paper, then reinsert the feed tray into the automatic document feeder. Push down the feeder cover until you hear a click.

10 hp Troy Built chipper pull start frozen

If a branch was already being chipped when it ran out of gas...you must clear the hopper of any chunks of wood in it. Pull the plug wire and use a metal pry bar to dislodge any pieces of wood. when the flywheel runs free, put the plug wire back on and the choke on. Try it now!!!

Wood Chipper how to

Great input tina783. I have just one thing to add. Try to shred the branches within a reasonable amount of time. I found out that with my shredder, if I put older, dried up branches in, it tends to take a lot more time, as well as tosses chips back out at you. With newly cut branches, this wasn't nearly as much as an issue.
