Adjusting washing machine door on Zanussi ZWN6120L

You should open machine's upper panel (release 2 screws in the machine's back and slide the cover out) and then you will have an access to it. You should buy a new door catch and replace the broken one. Be aware that you should disconnect machine's power cable before doing it. Good luck

I had a similar problem which was resolved by replacing the door interlock switch (cost about £10.00).

To get to it you need to disconnect the mains then remove the top lid. You can then see it by looking down the inside to the right. Remove the 2 screws inside the door opening and you can then lift it out after disconnecting the wiring plug.

Replacement is the reverse of the above, a 5 minute job.

This is quite tricky, first take off the retaining ring on the front door port, remove the seal from this rim. The back of the seal is held by a spring band. the best way to remove it is to get a good grip on the seal at the top then lift and pull (thats the easy bit), to put the new one on i always lubricate the recess on the seal with washing-up liquid and feed the seal on from the bottom with one hand whilst following it around with the other hand to stop it coming off. Once it is fully on it can then be rotated easily into the correct position. Getting the spring back on will require an extra pair of hands for obvious reasons.

Remove plastic clamp holding seal to cabinet and peel off the cabinet.push downwards on the seal close to the tub and the seal will come off - its just held by a spring round the periphery.

To fit new seal
Lubricate the slot which fits over the tub with washing-up fluid - essential
Starting at the top, press the seal so the flange of the tub enters the slot on the seal. Work your way round the using thumbs to force the slot on the tub flange.When slot is on the flange all way round, fit the spring which holds it on. The spring goes into a slot on the outside of the seal. this is quite difficult and you may need another pair of hands.
Fit the outside of the seal to the cabinet - this is easy and fit the plastic clamping ring.
Test for leaks before using in earnest. Use rinse to test as the water level is higher
