I have an ecco tv but it doesnt not switch on but there is a red light that comes on when we plug it into the plug

Redlight comes on but doesnt switch on

SOURCE: TV wont show picture but redlight and blue light come on.

Go to youtube.com. search, Polaroid 37 lcd hd repair. Two or three vids on how to fix. Radio shack has 45 watt capacitators for about 4.70 for two. Easy fix or get someone to help.

SOURCE: Phillips 42 inch LCD 42PF9730A Redlight flashing

Common short the cover cap over the video & sound boards short out if you remove it the cap only (shield metal) it usually will fix this

NO PICTURE-NO SOUND> REDLIGHT COMES ON ONLY
open the set and look for any blown fuses or a shorted transistor, now if do not have repair skills call the repairman this could be a headache
he should not charge you too much since this is an old tv. with parts and labor no more than $150.00
