just remove the caliper and bracket. then pull off rotor, if it dont just come loose its rusted on and you will need to beat it off with a hammer. one big hit is better [less damage] than several little hits. then just beat out broken stud. put new stud in and find some washers or nuts that go over the new stud so you can "****" in the new one with a lug nut.

How to replace rear sway bar links on a 1999 regal for knocking noise

First remove the tire on its corresponding side position of the side you are going to change.
the easiest way is to remove the pin and nut and that holds the spindle thing on top so you have some kind of slack to play with the sway bar link..then mark the thread of the all one how much deep is it where it connects to the sway bar so you put the one the same or you will need to take for aligment.
Next the remove the pin going through the nut opening...Then you will need to remove the nut that is facing down on the bolt of the sway bar link once the nut is out push the link bar up if it is to tight beat it with a hammer or a mallet from down the bolt to the top but before doing it make sure you got the right part you don't want to beat the all one up and have the wrong part..

Then just put new one in and the same way the old one was and everything should be good from there. Just put everything viceverse of how you started...

You should be good getting the spindle back in place may be hard if you can get someone to help you to push it is going to be lot more easier...'

Good luck. CR

Once All of the lug nuts are removed from the studs, if the vehicle is jacked up off of the ground, clearance under the tire, pull the tire off, it will be pretty heavy.
