GCC Elite XL 608 empty spots

I have problems when I print large dark areas (which happens a lot because I'm a screenprinter). There are small spots not covered by the toner. I'm talking pin hole size, but sometimes that's all you need to make getting the image in the screen to be a problem. Do I just need a toner cartridge?
