Turn off your system and unplug all the cables remove all the connected devices like mouse keyboard and USB devices.
press the power button for 20 seconds,
turn on the system and go to the control panel choose mouse icon, try to change the mouse pointer speed and also download the latest drivers from the manufacturer.

Cursor jumping around while typing text

You wouldn't have some live insect in your keyboard have you? I've seen Microwaves do strange stuff when infested with some tiny insects BUT I doubt it's the case with your machine. I am trying to recall a Keyboard key that I sometimes accidentally press when trying to create a document using Word, etc which does the same or similar to what you've described. It pees me of as I don't know which button I hit, it is one of the main reasons I avoid Word, Outlook, etc. Please let us know if solved, cheers.

Cursor hopping backwards

One of the innovative features about laptops is the built-in trackpad in lieu of a standard computer mouse. This device eliminates the need to have a mouse dangling from your PC as you tote it from palce to place. Unfortunately, this feature can also wreak havoc on word processing, as the text cursor will jump around the document if the trackpad is accidentally grazed during typing. Fortunately, this is a problem that is simple to correct for both PCs and Macs.

Click on the "Start" icon. Select "Control Panel," then select "Hardware and Sound." Select "Mouse," then select "Device Settings." Select "Settings." Under this tab select the option for "Tapping." This will let you turn off the feature that moves the cursor when you tap the touchpad. Stopping Cursor Jumping for Macintosh Select "System Preferences." Select "Trackpad." Uncheck the box next to "Clicking." This will disable the tapping feature.

When I am typing he cursor jumps around

It is a fault with Lenovo laptops. My cursor jumps all the time, no matter what software I am using. It is NOT the 'sensitivity' of the touchpad, for my cursor jumps even when I am not typing, even if I don't touch the laptop! I can set the cursor to a certain point on a document and then, after about 30 seconds, it will just jump to another point, even if I am in another room.

Cursor jumps around

Does the cursor jump around when your hands are nowhere near the touchpad? The touchpads are heat and pressure sensitive. I personally have very warm (and sometimes sweaty) hands. I have this problem often when working on laptops. If I hover my hands over the pad, it causes the mouse to move. I've had to take a business card, put tape on one side of it, and use it as a flip-cover for the touchpad on most of my laptops. If the cursor moves around when you're nowhere near the laptop, then you may want to try disabling the pointing stick (if it has one). I've had several clients with laptops where the pointing stick mouse control go crazy and move and click on things.

Typing english words in a persian document

An easy solution (for me) is to type what I want to insert into a document in its own "notepad" page.

After I've typed what I want to insert, I copy the whole thing (Cntrl + A, then Cntrl + C) from the original document. Then, I return to the document I'm working on, make sure the cursor's where I want to make my comment, and paste it (Cntrl + V). That usually will even keep the formatting from the notepad script.
