I did the hard reset for my Cricket LG Optimus C. I then set-up a wifi connection. But now it is asking now for the Google email that was first set-up on the phone before the hard reset. What do i do?

You either need to enter your Google Account information or hard reset your phone.

Perform a hard reset on the device, following these: http://www.hard-reset.com/lg-optimus-l3-e400-hard-reset.html

That will erase all data and apps; including the virus.

You can reset patter lock if you remember Backup PIN and Google account account ID and password, without loosing your data other wise hard reset is only option but all user data will be erased.

If your having problem like this I suggest that you perform a hard reset. To hard reset just simply follow this step.
And remember reseting can delete your all access data specialy passwords and code.
To hard reset:
1. Turn off the whole system.
2.Hold together buttons: Power + Volume Down. In several second until logo appear on the screen.
3. Release the buttons. And without asking and without notice System will automaticaly doing a reset.
If this will not succesfull, try to create google account on PC. Then remember all information you've made, the email and password. You said system asking you to sign in to google. Use all information you've got to sign in.
Note: The google method is not working on other tablet, but most of it solve the problem. Then you should go to area where you have an a access of wifi, place where can you connect a wifi. Internet connection is realy realy needed.

All data will be lost! Remember to back up any important data before doing a hard reset.

When the phone is turned off, press and hold the Home key + Volume down key + Power key for over 10 seconds. When the screen shows the LG logo, release the Power key.
After the screen shows the hard reset screen, release the other keys.
Leave your phone for at least a minute while it performs the hard reset, then your phone will be turned on.

anothewr way is :

reset phone to factory settings and erase all the data on your phone, touch Menu > Settings> Privacy > Factory data reset > Reset phone.

such as music or photos. If you reset the phone in this way, you are prompted to re-enter the same information that you did when you first started Android.

My lg p970 optimus black has been pattern locked and its showing too many pattern attempts and i forget my gmail id also
