The wires can easily break inside the insulation without showing it outside. The good news I'm about 99% sure it isn't in the headset or at least one would work.

So, can you see any markings where it got caught in the door? If so I would cut the cable a couple of inches towards the headset from there and install a new plug . The plug is wired as follows: bare coppers both go to the contact that leads to the large sleeve on the plug. The other two wires each go to one ot the other two contacts. A little solder and you're on your way again.

Skull Candy do have a policy in some countries I believe of a lifetime warranty. I don't know if that applies in your case or if they will cover it. But it is worth checking out with them first.

The jack broke off of my skull candy skull crushers, and i was wondering how i can fix this problem?

There isn't really a way to fix it if that happened. Lucky you, though, you have Skull Candies! Skull Candy has a lifetime replacement program that will replace your headphones for free if you say you broke them from an accident or just from eventual wear and tear. If they were broken from obvious aggressive use, Skull Candy will still give you 50% off a replacement pair.

Requesting replacements is easy. You just answer a few questions about them, such as around when did you buy them and a short explanation of what happened, then they will send you a special box. You mail them the box back with your headphones in them, and they will send you the replacement pair!

Every time i put my right head phone in my ear there is a crinkling sound tht comes from inside the headphone, it does not effect sound quality bt it is very annoying -.- (cnrinkle can also be heard...

have you tried the headphones on another device? cause this issue could be caused by many things
The underlying hum or static you hear is probably due to poor shielding on the audio jack, so the electromagnetic field produced by the hardware can cause interference.
This could also be caused by a loose connection in the audio jack. This is actually a problem with all skull candy headphones of this kind. You can google it and see alot of people have this problem. Best to test it on 3 devices. If it works on the other 2 and not yours it is your device. If it does it on all 3 it is the headphones. If you just bought them skull candy headphones come with a 90 day warranty up to 1 year. if its in the first 30 days return them and either get a new pair or get your money back.
If you need further assistance please feel free to follow up with a comment and i will be here to assist you. thanks and have a great day.

My skull candy head phones are busted in one ear!

repairing headphones is easy and interesting one,
you want to check the speaker busted out
deassemble your device so that speaker leads are visible,
connect a power supply of 5v or less to speaker leads(busted one) scratch wire with leads if speaker murmurs its working go further steps
if not throw it and buy a new one

if it works
  • buy a cable similar to your headphone cable(cable with stereo pin )
  • i you know how to solder it ,do it your own or watch this video for guidance

and assemble it
check you headphone

Dont work when i put them into headphone slot. i have to twist them and most of the time hold them at one angle to get them to work... i have the skull candy skullcrushers.

It is broken wire(s) inside the cord at the plug. The is either get a new jack at Radio Shack or similar and solder the wiers to the contacts as follows bare copper (2 of them) to the "sleeve" which is the part of the plug closest to the cord, then solder each of the other two wires to one of the other contacts.
