Your monitor must have multiple inputs (Dvi,D-sub) so it searches when you start for which input is connected.
If menu popping up intemittently is your problem,The culprit is generally defective (Leaky) Key switches.You need to pen up monitor and replace.
Normally BenQ has a 3 year warranty.
SOURCE: how to add items in combobox using database in vb6.0
There are 2 ways:-
you can set the recordsource in the properties for the comboBox to a table or create a recordset and loop through it adding one item at a time, see example below:-
Dim dept As String
Dim db As DAO.Database
Dim rst As DAO.Recordset
Dim qd As DAO.QueryDef
Dim varResults
Dim oMessage
Dim sQueryName As String
Set db = CurrentDb
mdbname.[Form_Name].Department.SetFocus
dept = formname[Form_Name].Department.Text
sQueryName = "Query_Name"
Set qd = db.QueryDefs(sQueryName)
'
' set up input field for query
'
qd.Parameters("field_from_query") = dept
Set rst = qd.OpenRecordset()
Dim recCount As Integer
recCount = rst.RecordCount
If recCount > 0 Then
With rst
.MoveLast
.MoveFirst
Do While Not .EOF
listBoxproducts.AddItem .Fields("pname")
listboxCode.AddItem .Fields("pcode")
listboxPrice.AddItem .Fields("pprice")
.MoveNext
Loop
End With
rst.Close
Set rst = Nothing
Set qd = Nothing
Set db = Nothing
Found a local man on the internet, who popped in and leant the machine forward then backwards and then flushed out the system, explaining that the program cycle had gone awry and there was water where there should have been air and so microswitches had not triggered in the right sequence. All fine now.
SOURCE: Monitor resolution not listed, Driver update issue
My compliments. Your description of your problem is great. I know what you've done and I understand your problem.
However, I am wondering about a few things that may help you. the video settings that you are referring to in your description are dictated by the software that drives the video card, not the monitor.
Are you sure you have the latest Manufacturer's drivers for your video card?
I don't see any mention of the video card here.
good luck
tony
Note: How to reset video output settings
If you are attempting to change to an HDMI cable from a different video cable or if the video output settings do not match those required for the display in use, the screen may stay black. If the screen stays black for more than 30 seconds, you may need to reset the video output settings of the PS3.
To reset video output settings:
