The codes listed all point to the transmission being in bad shape or some wiring got crossed. Check with a trans shop for an estimate.

2006 Sebring Convertible - Transmission Codes - P0700, P0720, & P0731....
2006 Sebring Convertible, started while driving around town - transmission did not want to shift and CEL came on. Stopped, checked transmission fluid and looked for anything obvious. All fluids good, nothing obvious. About 5 miles from home, drove back roughly 15-20 mph. Only other issue that had came to mind was the alternator had been making a whining noise for some time, probably 3 months or so - had mentioned to wife that we should replace it before it completely failed. Found one reference on the internet that the alternator could cause weird electrical conditions / interference if bad - leaking voltage back through ground. Thinking the alternator likely needed replacing anyway, I replaced it and cleared codes - all issues were solved - no more alternator whining and all transmission issues resolved. Replaced alternator on Sept 9, 2019 today is Sept 12, 2021 and still going - I think its safe to say the alternator was the culprit in this instance.

I have a 2004 dodge neon sxt and the codes im getting are, p0175, p0700 and p0731

1-P0175 is running rich. This will need to be checked by a mechanic unless you have some very expansive and highly technical machines too.
P0700 and p0731 both have to do with transmission malfunctions. Please - these things are not for at home unless you have the electronics2_bing.gif and know your way around the cars.
YOU CAN DO THIS - take down the VIN number and call the dealer - ask if any RECALLS are on your car2_bing.gif. This has saved many people thousands of dollars and you do not have to have bought the car new or even own it now to get these fixed.
TRY THIS -
1- Take the negative battery cable loose
2- Take the gas cap off and replace it [ really works
3- you might want to replace the air filter if you do not remember when the last time it was done.
4 - reattach the battery and drive the car for 20 minutes or so to see how that goes.

If this fails please take it to a dealer or a very reputable mechanic with the proper tools as you can end up making it worse because of the computers today.

I have a 2005 Dodge Neon and the engine light came on. It has codes P0700 (Transmission Control System (MIL Request); P0720 Output Shaft Speed Sensor Circuit; P0731 Gear 1 Incorrect Ratio

a had the same problem. i am 99.9 percent sure that the wires going to the sensors underneathe the battery box and air intake are broke inside the insulation. Get to where you can see the connectors. remove the tape from both sensor connectors and give the wires a pull each wire done seperately. Mine was an orange wire and a purple wire. It is not noticeable by looking at the wires because it is the copper wire inside the insulation that will be broke. Find the broke ones and splice in new wire and the problem will be fixed.
